This issue is dedicated to the late, great Bill Tapia. A true ukulele legend, Mr Tapia sadly passed away on December 2, 2011 at the age of 103. We had the privelege of conducting the last-ever interview with him.

Issue 3 also includes chats with master uke builder Chuck Moore of Moore Bettah Ukuleles, Bosko & Honey and Matt Dahlberg. We also induct Hawaiian monarch King David Kalakaua into the KAMUKE Hall of Fame and put the spotlight on a vintage instrument that was once owned by Hollywood star Mickey Rooney.
